“Biden’s veto is irresponsible”: Hern slams Biden’s veto of bipartisan CRA

WASHINGTON, DC – Representative Kevin Hern (OK-01) released the following statement criticizing President Joe Biden’s veto of a bipartisan CRA repealing NLRB’s joint employer rule.

“President Biden’s veto of bipartisan legislation to help small businesses is a slap in the face to hardworking Americans,” Rep. Hern said. “This veto goes against the requests of thousands of American small business owners and franchisees, as well as the will of both the House and the Senate. Under the Obama Administration, the joint employer rule resulted in 376,000 jobs lost. This rule is a threat to the franchise model that helped me and thousands of Americans achieve the American Dream. Biden’s veto is irresponsible and will result in economic hardship for small businesses and families during an already-challenging time across the nation.”
