WASHINGTON, DC – Representative Kevin Hern (OK-01) announced promotions on his legislative team following the departure of Deputy Chief of Staff Dominique Yelinski for Majority Leader Scalise’s office. Jefferson Willis has been promoted to Legislative Director, Kirby Tidmore is now the Senior Legislative Assistant, and Meg Maykoski is now a Legislative Assistant. 

“Leader Scalise made a great hire in Dominique, I look forward to watching her success in this new role,” Rep. Hern said. “I’m proud to have a legislative team of smart, savvy individuals who are more than capable of tackling these new promotions. Jefferson has been an indispensable member of my policy team for several years, he is the perfect fit to lead my legislative staff as House Republicans continue to deliver legislative wins for the American people.”

Yelinski served as Hern’s Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director since 2021 and is leaving to join Majority Leader Scalise’s office as a healthcare Policy Advisor. Willis began his career as a certified public accountant at KPMG and transitioned to tax policy, working as a Legislative Assistant for the late Senator Mike Enzi and a tax policy advisor in the private sector before joining Rep. Hern’s office as Senior Legislative Assistant in 2021. Tidmore joined Hern’s staff in 2022 after working for Representative Jim Hagedorn. Maykoski joined Hern’s staff in 2023.
