Representative Kevin Hern (OK-01) released the following statement following the death of a United States Capitol Police officer in a violent incident at the Capitol Building.

”My prayers are with the family of the Capitol Police officer who gave his life in service today, as well as our brave US Capitol Police force,” said Rep. Hern. “They protect us every day and I am thankful for their service.”
