I introduced two new bills to the House this month, both updated versions of bills I introduced last Congress.
First, the Energy Poverty Prevention Act (EPPA) ensures that every American has access to reliable, affordable energy. If new legislation or policies from the White House are going to impact our most vulnerable communities, we need to know about it before we vote.
You can read more about EPPA here.
Next, I reintroduced the Pro-Growth Budgeting Act, a bill requiring the use of dynamic scoring on new spending bills out of Congress. Dynamic scoring looks at the macro-economic impact of legislation, such as how many jobs will be created or destroyed, increases to inflation, and wage growth. These economic factors are just as important as the price tag of a bill, so we need to know this information before we vote on it.
